Aestus’ CoreTrax SurveyTM uses our patented cross-borehole technology to identify areas of fugitive LNAPL impacts. CoreTrax SurveyTM may be used to identify LNAPLs both within and at the perimeter of a site.
Figure 1 shows a typical clean section within this site. Figure 2 shows an LNAPL concentrated in a small area not likely found by a conventional drilling program. We found LNAPL in isolated pockets, abdicating traditional pump and treat techniques for more selective source removal and remediation. Knowing
precise LNAPL locations allows our clients to focus remediation efforts, saving both time and money. |
